Search for suspect in burglary of multiple homes

A neighbor recovers her pots in Hialeah and sends a message to thieves: “Work instead of stealing”

An incredible story of courage and determination takes place in Hialeah, specifically on 6th Ct. and 53 West Terrace in the city. A brave neighbor managed to get her flower pots back after they were stolen from her property.

It all happened around five in the morning, when the woman’s son was at work. It was then that he observed a woman entering her house with the intention of taking the two pots. The funny thing is that these pots were right in front of a security camera in the corner of her property. The neighbor realized that the thief did not know that she was being recorded.

The intruder hid the pots in a neighbor’s house and the neighbor decided to follow her. Quickly, her husband and her nephew left in a car to find her. As she walked back, the brave neighbor noticed that the pots were hidden in a fence, along with two bags full of mangoes. It turns out that a mango theft had also been reported in the neighborhood at the same time.

The suspect had allegedly taken them from another nearby house. It seems that this situation is not new in the neighborhood, since there are videos that show other similar cases where the same woman is seen on a bicycle and with a backpack.

After filing a complaint with the police, the neighbor was advised not to pursue the thieves in future cases, but to call the authorities so they could take action.

Despite facing difficulties, such as foot problems, she used this experience to send a message to criminals: “If the person who took my pots is listening, I would gladly give him three more, exactly the same as the ones he stole. But it’s important to remember that in our country there are many opportunities to work and earn an honest living.”
