Hamburger SV and Hannover 96 are dealing with Immanuel Pherai from Eintracht Braunschweig. As the ‘Bild’ reports, the clubs would like to sign the attacking midfielder regardless of the league for the coming season. The Cologne team, threatened by a transfer ban, also recently expressed their interest in Pherai. The Dutchman’s contract, which runs until 2024, includes an exit clause of 800,000 euros.

Pherai draws attention to itself in the second Bundesliga. The 21-year-old right-footer has proven his offensive qualities with 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in 23 appearances. According to ‘Bild’, Pherai is aiming to make the leap into the Bundesliga – HSV is currently in third place in the table and could miss out on promotion again, while Lower Saxony is in eleventh place. 96 sports director Marcus Mann makes it clear: “For various reasons, Immanuel Pherai will not play in Hanover next season.”
