Security workshops deepen a topic in small working groups of a maximum of 15 participants. The current offer of six one- or half-day workshops optimally complements the program of the heise Security Tour “Knowledge protects!”. The spectrum of workshops goes from “Law for Admins” to “Incident Response” and “Secure Use of Microsoft 365”.

As with the actual lectures in the conference program, the editors handpicked the topics and trainers for the workshops. This guarantees independence and manufacturer neutrality. Here is an overview of the individual workshop topics:

May 31 in Cologne

  • Law for admins – legally compliant IT operations: basics, stumbling blocks and practical solutions
  • Incident Handling & Response (almost sold out)
  • Security flight levels – how does security “really” get into the company? (half day workshop)

June 14 in Stuttgart

  • Attacks on and protection of Azure and Azure Active Directory (almost sold out)
  • Critical infrastructures – specifications and implementation options
  • Secure use of Microsoft 365 (half-day workshop)

Participation is also possible independently of the conference program on the following day. It costs 980 euros for the full-day and 480 euros for the half-day workshops (prices include VAT). Members of heise Security Pro receive a discount of 10 percent and can take part in the subsequent conference free of charge (see Agenda in the pro forum).
