The new bike warden of the Rankweil Seniors Tour, Werner Ketterer, together with Luis Feurstein, chose two beautiful routes for the first bike ride this year. The somewhat more leisurely route went under the direction of Werner via Meiningen – Oberriet to Altstätten.
We returned via Montlingen-Koblach back to Rankweil.
Luis’ group went to the Walgau via Nenzing to Thuringia, where they stopped at the “Blumenegg” inn. We returned via Schnifis-Satteins, Schwarzer See to Rankweil. After all, 42 km and 420 meters in altitude.
Werner and Luis organize a bike ride in our beautiful surroundings every 3rd Wednesday of the month. In case of bad weather, the alternative date is on the Friday of the week. See parish bulletin for details.
