It should not be forgotten that after the considerable decrease in Covid-19 cases throughout 2022, a few weeks ago in several states of the country the use of face masks ceased to be mandatory, including basic education schools, however, in the coming days the sanitary measure will be resumed in some entities.

In these states, the use of face masks will be mandatory for the return to school of the SEP in January

SEP authorities in that state reported that in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other respiratory diseases among the school population, as of January 9, the use of face masks will be mandatory in all basic education schools, both public as private.

Guillermo Adame Calderón, head of the SEP in this entity, indicated that, given the growing number of positive cases for Covid-19, in addition to influenza and flu, for the return to school in January after the winter holidays, the use of of face masks in closed areas, in addition to having frequent periods for hand washing.

A few days ago, Zenyazen Roberto Escobar García, Secretary of Education in said entity, reported that face masks will be mandatory in all preschool, primary and secondary schools, in addition to maintaining all the sanitary measures indicated by the health committee made up of the mothers and fathers of family that are in each educational establishment.
