According to the Ministry of the Interior, foreign tourists can now apply for a tourist visa as soon as they arrive at one of the airports in southern Algeria. A procedure that will be accompanied by travel agencies.
“Foreign tourists wishing to visit the south of the country with approved national travel agencies can benefit from a visa directly on their arrival at border posts, in particular in the wilayas of the south (airports and land border crossings)”, we read. in the press release.
How it will go ? The tourist will have almost nothing to do. Travel agencies will take care of everything. Moreover, they will be responsible for communicating all information relating to the trip, but also to the tourist. This will have to be done via a special electronic platform of the Ministry of the Interior.
Once the whole procedure is complete. The tourist will benefit from a “regularization” visa. What is the duration of this visa? It will depend on the information entered by the travel agencies, but in summary, it will only be valid during the trip.
