A 17-year-old girl was shot and wounded inside a West Philadelphia home Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
The incident was reported to have taken place in the 5500 block of Media Street at about 12:55 p.m.
Investigators said preliminary that the victim was found in the living room of the residence with a shot to the right cheek.
The lady was transported by paramedics to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she was admitted in critical condition.
So far no weapons have been recovered, nor has the motive or clues to who generated the shots been revealed.
