A seven-year-old girl sustained a gunshot Thursday afternoon in Camden, New Jersey.
The bloody event took place in the 1200 block of Chase Street at about 3:30 p.m.
According to the council spokesman, Dan Keeshan, the injuries sustained by the minor do not threaten her life. The little girl was taken to Cooper Medical Center hospital and admitted in stable condition.
Camden Police investigate what happened. So far no weapons have been recovered or any additional details of what happened have been revealed.
