They catch a cyclist who for two days dedicated himself to grabbing the buttocks of several women

A man, who allegedly grabbed the buttocks of at least seven South Philadelphia women while riding his bicycle, has been taken into custody by authorities.

The attacks were recorded for two days between Sunday August 6 and Monday August 7, according to the investigators.

The suspect was taken into custody Tuesday just after 5:00 pm in the 2500 block of Reed Street.

These were the recorded attacks:

  • Sunday at 5:00 am in the 1700 block of South Broad Street.
  • Sunday 10:25 am Attack on the same block with a different woman.
  • Sunday at 6:20 pm attack in the 1900 block of East Passyunk Avenue.
  • Monday at 8:55 am in the 1400 block of South 22na Street.
  • Monday at 10:30 am in the 2100 block of Pine Street.
  • Monday at 3:30 pm in the 2900 block of Walnut Street.
  • Monday at 3:35 pm in the 2300 block of Walnut Street.

So far, the identity of the suspect or the motive for the series of attacks on women have not been revealed.
