Gilles Rossary-Lenglet reported this Monday to Progress having filed a complaint against X for harassment. He says he was “followed” and “insulted” by strangers. Gilles Rossary-Lenglet admitted to being the architect of the meeting between Gilles Artigues, then first deputy mayor of Saint-Étienne, and an escort in a Paris hotel room in 2014. He claims to have acted on behalf of the mayor Gaël Perdriau to put pressure on his deputy.

Gilles Rossary-Lenglet is at the center of the sextape scandal that broke out at the town hall of Saint-Etienne at the end of last summer. And he speaks again in the press on Monday. He thus indicated to Progress of Lyon to have filed a complaint against X “a few days ago” for harassment.

Gilles Rossary-Lenglet is the man who says he thought of and organized the meeting between Gilles Artigues, then first deputy mayor of Saint-Étienne, and a escort in a Parisian hotel room at the end of 2014.

He also admitted to having filmed the massage of the second on the first. All this, he says, in concert with his companion at the time Samy Kéfi-Jérôme, who was deputy for Education, and above all according to the will of the mayor, Gaël Perdriau, eager to put pressure on his rival in within the municipal majority.

“Insults and spitting”

So many assertions which earned him many insults, according to his confidences in the regional daily on Monday, hence his filing of a complaint in a police station in Lyon, where the case is being investigated. “For some time, I have been followed,” he told the Lyon newspaper, adding: “I have also been the object of insults and spitting from people I do not know”.

While on September 2, the Lyon prosecutor’s office opened a judicial investigation, in particular for aggravated blackmail, Gilles Rossary-Lenglet is in a hurry to see things settle. To the point of waiting for his indictment on a firm footing. “It would have been so good if it had come before the holidays (…) “The time of justice is, alas, not the time of the media”, he regrets to the Progress.

“Gaël wanted to hold (sic) Gilles Artigues. There he is creating smokescreens. But let someone explain to me why he did not file a complaint against me or Mediapart for defamation …”, pleads once again Gilles Rossary-Lenglet.

But the mayor of Saint-Etienne, Gaël Perdriau, denies any involvement in the blackmail and even denounced an “indecent relentlessness” against him in mid-December.
