Available for almost a year, many players hope to be able to get started in Shadow Warrior 3 thanks to the Xbox Game Pass. Indeed, at the beginning of the month, a notification mentioned the arrival of the title in the Microsoft service. Unfortunately, several weeks later, this is not the case, but the developers are back on the scene with excellent news!
A big free update and optimizations on consoles
On February 16, the latest production of Flying Wild Hog will be updated to welcome its Definitive Edition, adding a variety of new features, but also optimizations for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions.
Of course, this major update will be available free of charge for all owners of the FPS, so there’s no need to go back to checkout.
Contents of Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition
- Survival mode in which players can try to survive in 3 arenas, the opportunity to unlock exclusive skins.
- A chapter selection menu to go back and collect missing improvements.
- A New Game Plus mode to relive the story with additional challenges, rewards and skins.
- Hardcore difficulty.
- Hero mode in which Lo Wang’s lives are limited. Performing well in game allows you to obtain additional ones.
- A performance mode in 60 FPS and a quality mode in 4K 30 FPS on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
You won’t have to wait very long to take advantage of these clearly welcome new features. Shadow Warrior 3 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is of course playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility, but it is better to wait for the native versions!
