This time the short tests include a Bluetooth audio dongle for gamers, in-ear headphones for bass lovers and a Lightroom extension for RAW photographers. Let’s start with Creative’s audio transmitter BT-W4: Thanks to the Bluetooth codec aptX Adaptive, the dongle has low latencies, is compatible with many game consoles and operating systems and can therefore score particularly well with gamers. At the push of a button, the BT-W4 switches between up to four devices.
Another Bluetooth audio device are the in-ear headphones MP-20TWS by Mackie. Despite the powerful bass, they sound clear and precise, and they also protect against humming noises via ANC. The battery life of the headphones is convincing, but their accessories are not suitable for everyone.
With the software PureRaw 3 DxO’s enhancement of RAW images is now also available in Adobe Lightroom: lens defects and image noise are removed from the photos before they are imported into Lightroom. Thanks to artificial intelligence, no tact is required for this. The image correction software also hooks into Windows Explorer and macOS Finder and is also available there.
