Silent Hill: The Short Message is still not formalized, but the game continues to be talked about regularly and it is today the Taiwan game classification body that evokes the title.

Last October, Konami and Bloober Team announced the Silent Hill 2 Remake as a PS5 exclusive for at least a year. The game has no release date, but the news was also accompanied by the announcement of other games. Silent Hill F and Silent Hill Townfall were briefly unveiled, but another game was missing: Silent Hill: The Short Message.
We have been talking about this new game since May 2022 when the first leaks appeared. The game had been listed in Korea in September and it is now in Taiwan that the game Silent Hill: The Short Message has been listed on PS5.
Better still, the listing of the game with the authorities is accompanied by an image, but also by a description which places the context of the game.
Anita went to an abandoned apartment to find her friend Maya, and found herself trapped there when she woke up. She must escape her own fears and the monsters that lurk the halls, uncover the truth behind the events she’s been victimized by, and try to escape before her own trauma consumes her will to survive.
We don’t know why, but Silent Hill: The Short Message is still not official as leaks about it have multiplied in recent months. The project may not yet be mature enough to be unveiled, unless its announcement is reserved for an upcoming special event.
