The producer Sixto Díaz Colón, known as Sixto George, will be sentenced this Friday in the Federal Court of Old San Juan.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
Díaz Colón was imprisoned in February after being unanimously found guilty on all counts: attempted extortion, extortion, and destruction of evidence.
Judge Francisco Besosa ordered the producer immediately jailed. “Not able to follow instructions”Besosa told the defense after they asked that the producer be released until the day of the sentence.
At the moment of being handcuffed in the courtroom by the bailiffs of the court, Díaz Colón assured “This is a fabricated case.”
“This is a fabricated case,” the producer said when they handcuffed him.
