The finals week in Farmen kendis is underway, and there is a fierce battle for the title of winner.

Out of twelve excited participants, only seven made it all the way to this decisive week. This gang consists of Jan Tore Kjær (54), Trond Moi (53), Ingrid Vik Lysne (31), Aleksander Sæterstøl (26), Sofie Karlstad (25), Ørnulf Høyer (66) and Christopher Mørch Husby (33).

Said goodbye to the rest

During Tuesday’s competition, it was challenger Jan Tore Kjær who had to give up and turn his nose home. It was in an obstacle course with knowledge questions that it was difficult for the 54-year-old.

– Breaking out in the middle of finals week is perfectly fine for me. I am extremely satisfied after four weeks at the Farm. Who would have thought I could take it, who can’t stand poo and dung or anything? says Kjær to TV 2 shortly after the exit.

Despite conditions he is neither used to nor prefers, he has made it almost to the end. He can reveal that he lost the competition on purpose.

See why in the video below.

– I have stood, carried stones, worked, almost sacrificed life and limb to get here. It has been tough. Sharing a bed and poor showering, but I got to experience the simple life with a dispute from Trond Moi, so I’m very pleased.

Smuggled and kept secret

This season there have been several participants who have smuggled in things they are not allowed to bring. Kjær can reveal that he is one of these.

– I smuggled in earplugs. I knew there were some snoring machines here, so I took the earplugs, stuffed them in my pocket, and it’s been worth its weight in gold.

This has meant that he has slept like a dream inside the farm.

– Sleeping badly was one of my biggest nightmares, in addition to muck under my fingers and poo, says the eliminated participant.

In addition to smuggling, Kjær has kept some special skills a secret from the rest of the gang. However, it never came to any use.

– I kept it a secret from them that I have thrown a lot of axes. I bought my own ax at home, have practiced and hit reasonably well. But I was never shown that, he says.

Had pulled on the spot

Kjær originally entered the farm as a challenger, together with TV personality Aurora Gude (30). In a competition of knowledge, the latter came out on top and went on to Torpet celebrity.

Ahead of this competition, the participants voted on who they wanted to be on the farm. That could have been a decisive moment for the former ice hockey profile.

– I thought that if the majority voted not to have me there, then I would have just packed my rucksack and gone home that day. But I got the majority, and then there was only the competition left, says Kjær and adds:

– When I won it, there were a bit of mixed feelings because I was very uncertain the first week. Everything was new, I had trouble going to the bathroom, I broke down and actually threw up when I stepped on some cow poo.

He struggled at some of the everyday aspects of farm life. Suddenly it turned around.

– It loosened up after that competition. Then I enjoyed it. Everything becomes different when you enter the bubble. You enjoy the days, and it slips by.

– You just live in that Farmen bubble, and it was a sick experience, he can say.

New friendships

After this, Kjær describes the stay as positive.

– I’ve actually had a great time, after I got over the problem after about a week. So the last three weeks have been very good, says Kjær.

He says that he has gained new friendships from the participation. The planning of various trips has already been established when TV 2 meets Kjær after the exit. Among a New York trip, he mentions one hit:

– Me, Christoffer and Aleksander have planned that we will go down and visit Trond Moi in a couple of weeks, after the Farm is finished. We will enjoy good food at his restaurant.

Now the remaining participants are fighting for the first prize. Watch the premiere of The farm celebrity Sunday on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play.
