After almost twelve years of marriage, is Kate and William slowly losing their romance? At an appointment in Leeds, Princess Kate couldn’t resist a little teasing.

Leeds – Currently celebrating Kate Middleton (41) the start of their new campaign “Shaping Us”, which aims to raise awareness of how important the first few years of life are for later development. “Our early childhood, the time from pregnancy to five years of age, fundamentally shapes our further lives,” said the Princess of Wales in a promotional video for her new heart project.

‘I don’t think he will’: Princess Kate jokes about William’s Valentine’s Day gift

Princess Kate visited Kirgate Market in Leeds to introduce the public to her new campaign. When Kate stopped at the Market Hall to admire the flowers at florist Neil Ashcroft’s shop, he seized the opportunity and elicited a surprising confession from the princess for the upcoming Valentine’s Day on February 14th.

Why do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

The day is named after Bishop Valentin von Terni, who is considered the patron saint of lovers. According to legend, the saint gave newly married couples flowers from his garden. Valentin is also said to have secretly married Christian couples whose marriage was actually forbidden, which is why he was executed on February 14, 269. Nowadays, flowers, cards or chocolates are traditionally given to loved ones.

Maybe Prince William will do his best after his wife’s little side swipe and surprise Kate with a romantic bouquet for Valentine’s Day. But even if not, Kate can count on her husband’s support.
