Juarez City.- More than 400 cars participate in the Show of Cars and Sound, which is held to raise funds for the benefit of the Guerreros baseball team, which will travel to Hermosilla to play a tournament.

The mayor, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar attended the event, as well as Juan Escalante, director of the Municipal Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of the Municipality of Juárez (IMDEJ), and players from the Guerreros team and their families who enjoyed the exhibition of classic and sports cars. .

“It is a team that has raised the name of Ciudad Juárez, and the truth is that their enthusiasm and forward-thinking has always motivated me,” said Pérez Cuéllar.

Verónica Chacón, coordinator of Guerreros, explained that they require more than 400,000 pesos to cover the expenses of their trip to Hermosillo, since they must pay for a hotel, food and transfers.

“This event is for the benefit of the team to participate in a tournament, which will take place next May in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, in which we will be participating in a very special tournament in its tenth edition,” he said.

He mentioned that the team has more than five years promoting the sport in minors, youth and adults with different conditions such as autism, Down Syndrome, and who are between 6 and 32 years of age.
