It’s been almost a year since the remaster of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition was announced and we saw its release in October for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, albeit with a performance that disappointed many of its fans. Late but not sleepy, Square Enix has just announced a new free update that seeks to improve the current state of the game.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers is a remaster of Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers, which unites their stories to give us an RPG with a huge cast, with more than 40 potential members for your team. Although several months have passed since its launch, the official Chrono Cross account on social networks has just announced a new free update.

This Monday, February 20, Square Enix published a statement through the official Chrono Cross account, through which the remastering development team said it was preparing an update for this month. Although an exact date was not given, it was said that the update to Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition intends to improve the overall state of the remaster.

“The update includes a wide range of changes, such as framerate improvements, changes to the growth system for Pip, and other bug fixes,” the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers development team said in their statement. The team also thanked the fans for their feedback, as well as their continued support over the past year.

Finally, this Square Enix team asked Chrono Cross fans if they have already found all the secrets that the original director Masato Kato hid in the remastering, as this was a good opportunity to revisit these two games so loved by their fans.
