As we have mentioned in other informative notes of The Truth News, the Yaquis Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico. It is the home of the Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón of the Mexican Pacific League and has a capacity for 16,000 people.
It hosted the All-Star Game of the Mexican Pacific League after several years of not taking place.
The venue is endorsed by the MLB and is one of the most modern complexes in Latin America. It was inaugurated on October 12, 2016 by the governor of Sonora, Claudia Pavlovich Arellano.

What is the origin of the Yaquis?
It is made up of the towns of Loma de Guamúchil, Loma de Bácum, Tórim, Vicam, Pótam, Ráhum, Huirivis and Belem that are settled in front of the Sea of Cortés and add up to around 45,000 indigenous people. This indigenous people, like few others in the history of Mexico, faced attacks on their territory and culture for centuries.
The Hiak nooki language, or Yaqui language, is one of the 68 officially recognized indigenous languages spoken in Mexico.
