Breaking news! We finally know what’s written in the stars: Bethesda has just a few minutes ago first concrete information about the changes has been publishedwhich are coming with the upcoming updates for Starfield.

Hotfix for Starfield is live!

The first hotfix is ​​already live by the time you read this. This addresses the most serious issues identified by Bethesda. Above all, these are stopper bugs in quests and stability improvements.

Technology, bug fixes and quality of life features

In the future, additional patches will be released regularly that will address the following:

  • A menu for calibrating HDR settings
  • Brightness and contrast settings
  • FOV slider
  • Nvidia DLSS support on PC
  • 32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support on PC
  • And a button to be able to eat food directly
  • Further stability and performance improvements, also thanks to new drivers from Nvidia, AMD and Intel.

Support for years to come

Unsurprisingly, Bethesda wants to continue supporting Starfield over the coming years. A crucial step will also be the Creation Kit announced for 2024, which will also bring mod support to the Xbox Series consoles. We already reported on this in this report.
