As of Saturday, April 29, more than 2 million Colombian households will begin to receive the transfer of Transit to Citizen Income, which coordinates the Department of social prosperity and that it will be done through Banco Agrario.
According to official information, of these households that have the transfer approved, 549,133 are identified as victims of displacement and 167,056 are indigenous households. For this first payment, the National government allocated 796,435 million pesos.
Different modalities are available for the delivery of the transfer: electronic transfer, payment to bank savings accounts, extended boxes, digital wallet and through transfer with different allies.
The holder will receive a text message from the bank with the notification and the link to check the collection point assigned to the document and if it has a bill and ID.

Thus, a delivery of up to 1 million pesos would be made, every two months, according to the conformation of the household, the Sisbén group, territorial prioritization and compliance with the co-responsibilities of the program. The departments with the largest number of beneficiary families in this payment will be: Antioquia with 169,817 beneficiary households; Bolívar with 156,032; Cordoba with 137,555; Valle del Cauca with 126,792; Atlantic with 108,326; Santander with 101,185; and Nariño with 100,790.
“As of today, we have tripled the income that was normally available for this type of transfers. We went from 1.7 trillion to 7 trillion pesos, we went from coverage of 1.9 million homes to 3.2 million,” Rusinque pointed out on Saturday, April 29, during the official launch of the program.
