Steam had made an announcement last September to explain that it wanted to end the Lunar New Year sales. because these were in particular in conflict with those of winter. By specifying at the same time that extending the time between each Steam seasonal sale would benefit customers more. But yet surprise, by connecting today to the famous Valve platform we can see that the sales are back for this famous Lunar New Year.
In this case, it corresponds to a festive period, which is very important in China. And when we know the increasingly predominant place within the video game market of Chinese players, we have the beginning of an answer on the return of this period of reductions. Moreover, Valve has literally renamed this key moment via a giant visual on the store page.
As a result, over 150 publishers have come together to offer a discount on over 750 games during this sale. It’s just huge.
