Season 3 of The Mandalorian is expected in March 2023 on Disney+. A trailer has been released, but there is a second one, which contains an additional plan… and not the least!
The trailer for season 3 of The Mandalorian was broadcast in early 2023. The series, carried by Pedro Pascal in the title role, will return next March on Disney+. She notably showed the return of the character of Grogu, surprising because of season 2 – you will have to watch The Boba Fett Book will be necessary to understand the start of this new season.
But as spotted Screening, there is a second trailer, which has not been promoted or released on social media or YouTube. This alternative version is only available in the “extras” of the series, on the Disney+ platform. Impossible also to find the trace of it elsewhere for the moment, but Screenrant fortunately made the description of it.
The Returning Star Destoyers
This other Season 3 trailer doesn’t add a ton of extra footage, but one sequence in particular, which is not the least. We are on Coruscant (the planet was already confirmed for this season). Two unidentified figures face a valley where Star Destroyers are stored. Screenrant indicates that it is difficult to distinguish whether the ships are being repaired or dismantled.
Their mere presence is an important teaser. Star Destroyers are not just iconic vehicles of Star Wars making their return. They can play a determining role in a conflict. If they’re being fixed, chances are this Season 3 will feature at least one big space battle. Narratively, the role played by these destroyers could also help The Mandalorian to better detail the gap between the collapse of the Empire after Return of the Jedi and the growth of the First Order in The force awakens.
