Stranger Things, one of Netflix’s flagship products in recent years, will conclude its narrative arc with the fifth season, but it will not be the definitive end. The universe created by the Duffer brothers will in fact expand with a spinoff of which not much is known yet. Apparently, however, the only member of the cast to have guessed the plot of the new project was Finn Wolfhard, interpreter of Mike.

Finn Wolfhard guessed the plot of the Stranger Things spinoff

We were on set shooting season 4 of Stranger Things and at one point I approached the Duffer brothers. I offered them my plot idea for a spinoff and they, after looking at each other, asked me if anyone had suggested it to me. They were surprised by what I just said and asked me not to tell anyone about it.

The declarations of the young Finn Wolfhard took place in a recent episode of Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. After the global success of the fourth season which delivered iconic moments, including the scene of Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) playing Metallica’s Masters of Puppets, fans are eagerly awaiting the fifth. The episodes of the last season will be of shorter duration and will arrive on Netflix no earlier than 2024. Sadie Sink, interpreter of Max, has declared that the ending will be really exciting and in her opinion it will be very sad and difficult to have to say goodbye to the other companions of the cast and the entire crew.

Meanwhile, a Stranger Things stage play from the prolific British theater producer is also in the works Sonia Friedman, Stephen Daldry and Netflix. Again it has not been specified whether it will be a slavish representation of the series or something completely new.
