Street closures and mega operations announced in Cancun for Carnival
He Carnival will soon come to cancun and the authorities have already announced various operations and road devices to guarantee the safety of the citizens who will gather during the festivities for the celebration.
The head of the department, the Lieutenant Commander IM, José Pablo Mathey Cruzinformed that they will deploy a sufficient number of elements, patrols and necessary resources so that those attending the carnival enjoy these celebrations without frights.

“We have met with other agencies to develop a comprehensive operation so that the holidays pass in peace, it has been an instruction from our President, Ana Patricia Peralta de la Peña and we have worked intensely in that regard,” he said.
He specified that security work, such as patrolling and other operations, as well as attention to citizen reports in the rest of the municipality will not be affected because strategic schemes have been designed to optimize the available resources of the Secretariat.

The address of Transit Municipal will also deploy road safety devices and partial closures.
They will close Av. Chichén Itzá, in the lane that goes from Av. Bonampak to Av. Tulum for the concentration of comparsas and floats, starting the parade at 5:00 p.m. same that will depart from Av.Tulum and Chichén Itzá towards the Glorieta Norte a Sur (El Ceviche), surrounding it heading towards the City Hall.
They will also make the total closure to circulation on Tulum Avenue from the Glorieta Historia de México to the Glorieta known as “Caribbean Fantasy! in both directions until the end of the event.
