Bludenz (VRV). A week after the Junior World Championships in artificial track luge, the next highlight was the 5th and 6th run of the Junior World Cup at the Bludenz ice track.

92 participants from 13 nations were at the start and, despite the snow flurry, they delivered exciting races. Both competitions were dominated in all categories by athletes from Germany and Latvia. For Austria there was in the 5th competition Barbara Allmaier a silver medal in the women’s singles, in the overall standings after 6 races she came in 4th Noah Kallan 2nd place in the 5th competition and 3rd place overall.

Everyone involved was enthusiastic about the event organized by the Vorarlberg Toboggan Association and supported by the Sparkasse Bludenz Toboggan Club.
