Initially scheduled for 2022, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has unfortunately been postponed to this year, but the game will soon be talked about again!

An adventure that promises to be violent!

After breathing new life into the superhero video game genre with the Batman Arkham franchise, Rocksteady wanted to stay within the DC Universe fold with its next project. With the release of the game fast approaching, it has already begun to be reviewed by various ratings organizations, allowing us to learn a lot more about what should constitute the foundations of the adventure.

Indeed, the Infocomm Media Development Authority (or IMDA) of Singapore has recommended a minimum age of 18 to embark on the adventure, while displaying some important elements. We thus learn that Metropolis, the playground offered by the software, will be divided into several areas, and that each of them will house its own boss that players will obviously have to defeat to progress. Besides, these famous bosses should be prominent members of the Justice League: the group that you and your partners will have to hunt!

Similarly, it should be about “secondary objectives requiring rescuing trapped civilians and collecting items to upgrade equipment.” Elements that therefore seem fairly standard for a title of its kind, but we should have a first glimpse of it on the occasion of the next PlayStation State of Play, since a third of the program will be devoted to Rocksteady’s baby.

Regarding the age restriction, this can be explained by the presence of “corpses”, “blood”, “violence tinged with black humor, such as scenes involving the severing of a protagonist’s finger” or even a “character with a blade impaled in the neck”.

As a reminder, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is scheduled for May 26 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S only.
