How is 2023 coming?

The president of ACARA, Ricardo Salomé commented: “The almost 19,700 vehicles in December mean that we end the year with a more than positive feeling, with good year-on-year growth and more than 407,000 registrations, something that at some point we saw as difficult to achieve. These are very soccer weeks and we can say that we have also played our championship with a positive result, since we have had to go through a 2022 that had its complexities, but together with the value chain we have formed a great team, which with a lot of effort has reached the end with good results despite having a very restricted offer”.

On the other hand, he added: “The outstanding data of the year is that 7 out of 10 cars sold are of national origin, an old desire of the sector that meets very diverse objectives since it affects the entire sector and other related activities. They were 12 very intense months and as we have been warning since January, if we had had more vehicles the figures would have been considerably higher. In any case, we chose to keep the glass half full that we established a good brand from where we can now grow in 2023, we are already working together with the authorities of the area for this, we continue in action”, Salomé completed.
