The Orsero stock is doing better than the reference sector average – projectionsdiborsa.it

In a session like the one held on January 12, which saw the Food&Beverage sector place itself at the bottom of the Ftse Mib’s sector performance ranking, we had confirmation of a trend that has been going on for a year now. David wins against Goliath. In fact, surprisingly in the Food & Beverage sector there is a share that has outclassed Campari in the last year. Starting from the first session in January 2022, in fact, Orsero’s prices have gained more than 16%, while those of Campari have lost more than 20%.

A bullish reversal of the averages materialized with the session of 12 January

From the point of view of the fundamentals, there are all the prerequisites for continuing upwards. The price/earnings ratio is lower than the industry average. The stock has a very low valuation level, with a company value estimated at 0.2 times its turnover. Furthermore, the company appears undervalued, if one considers the value of its net book assets.

Basically we are talking about one over 50% underestimation. This level of underestimation is also confirmed by analysts whose average target price expresses an underestimation of 51%. Very interesting, however, is the dispersion between the various recommendations which is less than 2%. So surprisingly in the Food & Beverage sector there is a stock on which analysts have a practically identical view.

From the point of view of the current trend, we note that with the session of 12 January there was a bullish reversal of the averages also confirmed by the SwingTrading Indicator.

We have already talked extensively about Campari in a previous article. We can only add that the current trend is up, but the January 12 close could be the start of a retrace. As can be seen from the graph, in fact, the closing was lower than the short-term average (blue line). A first sign of weakness to be monitored carefully.
