A Page Six report claimed that Susan Sarandon was detained along with eight other people who participated in the protests.

Two hours after the arrest, the actress was released after posting undisclosed bail.

The New York State Police reported that the activists were ordered to move for their safety, but they refused, for which they were arrested.

“They were ordered multiple times to move to a safer location, but eight of the group members refused and asked to be arrested. Those eight people were arrested, each on one charge of disorderly conduct, which is a criminal offence. violation level. All have been processed and released with returnable appearance tickets to Albany City Court at a later date. Names will not be released due to the level of offense,” he said.

So far Susan Sarandon has not ruled on the matter.
