Suspects steal truck to take ATMs from Queens business

NEW YORK — Authorities are searching for suspects in a series of robberies in Queens in which ATMs were hijacked with a stolen car, New York City Police announced.

According to the police report, on Saturday, May 13, at about 3:00 pm, a man parked his truck, a white Ford, in front of a residence in 75-09 Woodhaven Blvd. When he returned three days later, the car was gone, the uniformed woman added. They didn’t have surveillance video of the stolen car.

However, on Saturday, May 20, at about 4:35 am, two suspects reverse-crashed that truck into a business located in 168-22 Union Turnpike and smashed the windows, police said. Then they entered the place and robbed the ATM that had about $4.6’00.

A month later, on June 20, at about 5:30 am, the alleged thieves collided with the same car against an ATM, which was outside a gas station located in the 252-02 Union Turnpike, until she fell, said the uniformed woman. At that moment they took the cashier that had about $2,500.

In none of the incidents were there injuries.
