A total of five people have been arrested after last night’s explosions in Stockholm.
The first explosion occurred at the entrance to a residential building in Grimsta at 03:00. It is described as very powerful.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident. According to the police, an apartment building suffered extensive damage.
The Swedish newspaper Expressen writes that one of the four is a well-known rapper. The artist must have a previous criminal conviction.
Both Expressen and Aftonbladet writes that the explosion happened at an address linked to another well-known rapper. Both of them are connected to the gang criminal environment.

Linked to murder
About an hour after the first incident, another explosion occurred in Bagarmossen. An area on the other side of town. The police arrested a person in connection with the latest explosion on Monday morning.
A total of five people have thus been arrested. The police say they currently see no connection between the two explosions on the night of Monday.
On New Year’s Eve, a man in his 20s was shot and killed in the same area as the night’s first explosion, where artists are said to have been involved.
– One theory is that it is a continuation of the shooting on New Year’s Eve. But we don’t lock ourselves into that, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
No injuries have been reported following the explosions.

Violent Space Christmas
This Christmas there have been several deadly incidents of violence in Stockholm. Several of the incidents can be linked to the murder of the 19-year-old artist Einar in 2021.
December 25 a 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Rinkeby.
December 27 there is an explosion in a stairwell in a district south of Stockholm.
December 28 a 15 and a 14-year-old were caught for shooting at an apartment door. There is also another shooting in another district on the same evening.
December 31 there will be another blasting of a gate, as well as a fatal shooting.
January 2 there are two explosions in two different districts.
