In a blog note, the leader of LFI evokes the next presidential election, while criticizing the many questions on this subject.
Will Jean-Luc Mélenchon be the candidate of La France insoumise in 2027? If it is too early to say, the leader of the movement, already three times candidate for the election queen, expressed himself on this subject in a blog post, after returning from a trip to Guyana. The tribune returns in particular to his participation in the program “L’Evenement” on France 2 last Thursday.
“I have seen too much of this hour and a half of good level interview summed up by the fascinating question of whether or not I intend to be a presidential candidate in 2027”, laments Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
He nevertheless continues by giving a few lines to the subject. “We again broke François Ruffin’s feet on this subject in one of his very good television performances to find out if he would support me”, he writes.
“After he said ‘why not’, I think he was right to ask if in the end it wouldn’t be me supporting someone.”

“Well said”, judge Jean-Luc Mélenchon. “And why not himself indeed”, adds the tribune, before specifying: “Him, or another. Talents are not lacking as we know”.
What place will the tribune take? “I will be available, if necessary, to lend a hand,” he wrote. It’s hard not to see it as an attack on the rebellious who failed the new management and in particular Clémentine Autain.
The rebellious MP had granted a river interview to Release in which she felt that the coordination of the movement had “been chosen by co-optation, which favors courtiers and helps to silence criticism”. The elected official of Seine-Saint-Denis had shared her interview on Facebook. Under his post, a lapidary response from Jean-Luc Mélenchon: “All the front page to get us dirty”.
