Mexico City.- From January to April of this year, the country’s tax revenues totaled one trillion 598 billion pesos, a real annual increase of 2.4 percent, reported the Tax Administration Service (SAT).

Said amount obtained from the collection of the Income Tax (ISR) registered a real annual increase of 3.4 percent, while the income obtained from the Value Added Tax (VAT) amounted to 697 thousand 801 million pesos, it was reported in a statement.

He stressed that this amount allowed refunds for 277 thousand 805 million pesos, a real annual increase of 5.8 percent.

Additionally, the collection of the Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS) had an annual increase, in real terms, of 29.2 percent.

The SAT added that the collection obtained in the first four months of this year was 14.9 percent higher, in real terms, than that of the same period of 2018.
