Team Fortress 2 is still a popular game, despite all the problems it has had with bots, as well as the fact that it has now been a full 16 years since its release. But not only that it has its years behind it, it also hasn’t received very much maintenance, so what was true in 2007 still applies to a large extent today. Normally, such behavior is a clear warning sign, that you are about to close the shop for good, but now it comes information that this is not the case at all.
According to the website, one has now appeared blog post with the title “Attention, Steam Workshop Creators!” Here it is revealed that already this year a major update will be released with gadgets, maps, effects, war paintings and other goodies. But it doesn’t stop there. The update will also include contributions from the game’s community, hence the title. No other platforms are included in the discussion, only Steam applies. For those interested in contributing, the deadline is May 1st.
