Although most gamers would agree that an extra controller or two is necessary for successful titles like Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Joy-Con from Nintendo can be expensive, and the fact that each unit can be separated into two controllers means that having extras on hand isn’t always essential, but that hasn’t stopped this gamer.
Although the Nintendo Switch was very well received when it debuted in early 2017, its controls, as innovative as they were, drew quite a bit of backlash. A significant amount of Joy-Con from nintendoswitch they suffer from the stick drift issue, a quirk now believed to be due to a crucial design flaw on Nintendo’s part.
Repairing affected drives can be difficult, and replacing them can be expensive. These issues don’t seem to concern reddit user Dazzling-Original995, though, who recently posted a picture of his impressive Joy-Con collection on the Nintendo Switch subreddit.
In total, nine Joy-Con can be seen alongside two pro controllers. Most of the user’s Joy-Con appear to be special edition Nintendo Switch ones; the blue and green Joy-Con from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons console bundle, as well as the yellow and orange controllers that came with the exclusive Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! There is also what appears to be half a controller hidden behind a pro controller and a green Game Boy Color.
