The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received, on Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, indicates a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.
The audience took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, and the Director of Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Ennadir Larbaoui.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, underlined today Tuesday, a “total agreement” between Algeria and his country on the various questions of common interest, stressing that the cooperation and coordination between the two countries serve the security and stability of the Arab region and the international community as a whole.
An important visit to strengthen cooperation and coordination
The Saudi minister stressed the importance of his visit to Algeria, which is part of the continuity of the close cooperation and coordination between the two countries in all fields. He also pointed out that Algeria is currently chairing the Arab League Council at the summit, waiting for Saudi Arabia to take over the presidency at the next summit.

The minister also pointed out that there are many opportunities to strengthen cooperation and continue to seek areas of coordination and mutual cooperation. He stressed that bilateral and multilateral coordination and cooperation “not only serve our two countries, but also serve the security and stability of the Arab world, our region as a whole, and the international community as a whole. We will continue, with the grace of God, to cooperate and coordinate our efforts.”
The strategic partnership between Algeria and Saudi Arabia is based on mutual cooperation and coordination in various fields, including economic, political, social and cultural. Both countries are major players in the Middle East and North Africa region and play an important role in promoting regional and international peace and security.
