While relations between Algeria and France have been calm for a few months, after tensions, news has just fallen, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune has just ordered to summon the Algerian ambassador to France , Said Moussi for consultations.

This summons follows the participation of diplomats, consuls and French security elements in the clandestine entry of an Algerian national (Amira Bouraoui) unofficially, who is supposed to be in Algeria, according to the Algerian justice.

Indeed, the activist and political opponent and Franco-Algerian journalist, Amira Bouraoui managed to go to France. The latter was first arrested in Tunisia on February 3 at the airport when she wanted to board for France and risked deportation to Algeria, where she should have served a two-year prison sentence. The Algerian journalist and opponent Amira Bouraoui will therefore have escaped extradition to Algeria from Tunisia where she had found refuge a few days ago.
