MIAMI.- Telemundo released a new preview of the ninth season of The Lord of the Skies, which premieres in February. The preview shows how Aurelio Casillas, played by Rafael Amaya, returns to his true and brutal nature, facing new adversaries and settling accounts of the past.
Aurelio’s most implacable nemesis, El Cabo, gets a surprise when he is ambushed by the notorious drug trafficker, who has sworn to take revenge and eliminate him once and for all. This confrontation is just a preview of what promises to be an epic and incomparable season.
Fans can expect a season of the serie filled with adrenaline to see how Aurelio unleashes the beast inside him, reminding everyone of what he is capable of to protect what belongs to him.
With new and old enemies to neutralize, Aurelio will show no mercy and let out the beast that made him the notorious Lord of the Skies.

Some of the characters returning to the series are Carmen Aub as Rutila Casillas, Ivn Arana as Ismael Casillas, Isabella Castillo as Diana Ahumada, Africa Zavala as Mercedes “Mecha” de la Cruz and Robinson Daz as Milton Jimnez, known as El Cabo.
Likewise, Itat Cantoral joins the cast and Arturo Peniche will have a special participation.
