Tesla competitor Lucid offers test drives directly on superchargers

The electric car manufacturer Lucid got into The Angels near one Supercharger-Station widened to offer test drives to Tesla customers. Specifically, a Lucid vehicle was parked there and was available to interested parties.
However, the campaign is not well received by some Tesla fans. On Twitter, for example, there are complaints that Lucid “desperate” act. At the same time, it is said that Tesla customers are not interested in the competitor anyway.
Where the displeasure with Lucid comes from is not entirely clear. From a company perspective, it seems logical to turn to customers who have already switched to electromobility.
It’s not the first time Tesla’s competitors have used supercharger locations for promotions. In China, for example, test drives were carried out with the Cadillac Lyriq offered how Electrek writes.
