The new bathhouse at Lugnet opened in mid-December but was closed last weekend. Two children were suspected of being infected with athlete’s foot, which can cause pain and make walking difficult. The facility was kept closed until Tuesday, when parts of the bathhouse could open.
However, the family bath remains closed on Thursday.
– The family pool and the multipool will be closed tomorrow, we hope to be able to open on Friday, says Cajsa Andersson.
During Thursday, the department for environment and health at Falu municipality will review the test results before they can give the green light.
Have you introduced any new routines to avoid infection in the future?
– No, we follow our cleaning routines and we will continue with that, now that it has been closed we have also cleaned extra.
