The Governors Housea body dependent on the Ministry of Culture of the province, summons the community to the celebrations for the 113 years of the property. The programming will be framed within the cultural proposal “Marathon Museum”, a joint initiative of the provincial government and the Municipality of the city of Santa Fe for International Museum Day.
The celebrations They will start at 3:00 p.m. and will last until 9:00 p.m.. The income is by Bv. Gálvez 1274 (Santa Fe), with free admission, in order of arrival.
PROGRAMMING THE HOUSE OF THE GOVERNORS
Programming will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a complete tour of all floors of the property. At 3:30 p.m. you can enjoy a tango class by Carolina Jador, which will end with Milonga libre from 4:30 p.m. Starting at 4:00 p.m., the activity “Drawing in the patios” will begin, coordinated by the architects Ricardo Robles and Lucas Javier Bizzotto and the artist Nicolás Veinticcinque.
At 19:00 it will be the musical show of the singer Agos Firpo, accompanied by Francisco Serra on piano, who will share a series of covers in acoustic format. Also, throughout the day you can enjoy mediated and free tours of the exhibition “1910 – 2023. A historical-architectural reconstruction of La Casa”, and visit the photographic exhibition “Natures and stories of the Gran Chaco” located outside of the building.
The program is completed with a gastronomic and artisan fair.
PIANO ACTIVATION
This year the Living room, located on the ground floor of the building, has the presence of a Chickering & Sons grand piano. The instrument, made in 1870, was loaned by the Rosario Provincial Historical Museum “Dr. Julio Marc” to be part of the La Casa exhibition. From the property, a technician was hired who worked for months to put this piece of heritage into operation.
That is why on the day of celebration the musical repertoires on the piano. On this occasion, the person in charge of giving birth to this new format is the pianist, composer and arranger Juan Aneiros, who will share with us a cycle of improvisations on Argentine popular music.
