The 18th edition of the Huelva International Comic Show opens

HUELVA.- The Councilor for Culture and Archaeological Heritage of the Huelva City Council, Nacho Molina, and Gerardo Macas, the organizer and representative of the Six Vietas Cultural Association, inaugurated this Thursday in Espaa the 18th edition of the Ex Huelva Chocmic Comic International.

The city council indicated in a press release that Chocmic became an unmissable event for all fans with a scope of great prestige and projection inside and outside the Spanish borders.

“Organized by the Six Vietas Association with the collaboration of the Huelva City Council since its inception, the Chocmic, as it is popularly known, celebrates its eighteenth edition in 2024. The councilor wanted to reclaim the comic as a means to encourage the imagination, excite us and immerse ourselves in new worlds, which help us understand and above all respect the difference,” highlighted the city council.

This initiative has helped this art have more and more presence and prominence in Huelva.

“It is an event that has become a meeting point between fans and professionals of the world of comics, but also an alternative for leisure and free time for our young people,” said Molina, who insisted on the economic impact that an event of these characteristics can have in Huelva in the short term. “During these days, Huelva becomes the showcase of the world of comics and of all the fans who visit us,” he added.
