Smartphones, tablets, connected watches, headphones and earphones, TV, cars, scooters and electric bicycles… but also and always laptops: there are many tech products to pass through our expert hands. There are a plethora of laptop models that come out every month, between ultraportables, gaming PCs, hybrid computers, Chromebooks… we hardly know where to turn.
That’s why, every month, we do a little review for you by highlighting the best computers we’ve been able to test. After having revealed to you the best laptops of the year 2022 according to us, this month, we are focusing on the new versions of laptops which have already proven themselves and which are once again establishing their position.

It is immediately announced: the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro stands out as the good benchmark for gaming at an affordable price (for this type of product!). Its most recent iteration, which we tested, admittedly has few changes, but the formula is still good, with recent components.
The plastic chassis has remained the same: it is sober and well built. Ditto for the keyboard and the touchpad which are both pleasant and precise. Lenovo’s gaming laptop has a screen in 16:10 format with a diagonal of 16 inches and a beautiful WQXGA definition (2560 x 1600 pixels). The latter offers a superb maximum brightness of 520 cd / m² and a refresh of 165 Hz, largely appreciable for gaming, and is Nvidia G-Sync compatible.
In terms of connectivity, the Legion 5 Pro is very generous, with everything you need for everyone: USB-A, USB-C in Thunderbolt 4, but also an HDMI port and an RJ45 .
It is especially on its excellent performance that the Legion 5 Pro stands out. In the 16IAH7H version that we were able to test, there is an Intel Core i7-12700H chip and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. Suffice to say that this couple will have no trouble running all the latest games, not to mention that the model houses 32 GB of RAM, so multitasking will not be a problem either.
If you are looking for a laptop with a large screen, performing both on gaming and productivity, all for less than 2,000 euros, you can go for it.

Year after year, model after model, Microsoft is refining its hybrid PC formula with the Surface Pro. This latest version is certainly not unduly innovative, but still holds the dragee high in terms of convertible PCs. In this area, the Redmond giant is king.
The Surface Pro 9 can thus take the form of a large 13-inch tablet, or an ultraportable PC when it is connected to its keyboard. The edges of the screen are thin, the hinge allows all sorts of configurations, and the panel benefits from a nice fluidity thanks to a refresh at 120 Hz (for the Intel version, not for the ARM version). The finishes are perfect, nothing to complain about, the product exudes the “premium” side.
Unfortunately, Microsoft is still a bit stingy on accessories: the Surface does not come natively with the keyboard and its excellent Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus. You will have to add 179 euros for these almost essential accessories to fully enjoy the experience. Surface.
With an Intel Core i5 1235U and 8 GB of RAM, the Surface Pro 9 is available from 1,200 euros. It is still convincing on performance thanks to its 12th generation processor, a little less on autonomy, since it will not last the day. It is nevertheless the ideal machine for those who are looking for flexibility, performance and a reliable and durable product.
