The Anti-Corruption Secretariat missed high-profile cases of corruption

The debate on the functionality of the Anti-Corruption Secretariat once again highlights the almost zero management in the detection and prosecution of corruption complaints. A year ago, our newspaper published the poor results of this institution up to that moment in charge of the former prosecutor for Economic Crimes, René Fernández, whose administration barely found 18 cases of evidence of punishable acts that were sent to the Public Ministry.
