ORna part of content of the conversations held by Robinho and his friends and used by the Italian Prosecutor in the investigation into the rape of a woman in 2013 have been published by the Brazilian portal ‘UOL’.
In the audios, from the year 2014the friends acknowledge that they had group sex with the woman and talk about strategies to defend yourself against possible accusations.
“Even if they call me for something, there’s no problem. I go there and say: First, the story was a year ago. Second, don’t touch that girl.”says Robinho, whose main concern was that the case would be published in the press: “I’m afraid of… if it doesn’t appear in the press, it’s great. Imagine: ‘Robinho’s friends rape a girl in Italy’. What phase!”
Despite not acknowledging the facts, the audios make it clear that there was a group relationship and that the woman was unconscious due to alcohol intake. “I slept with her, she blew me off and I left. The others stayed there. The camera wasn’t going to record me sleeping with the girl, or the girl blowing me off because if I wasn’t going to fuck everyone because she blew me off, you suck…” explains Robinho to one of his friendswhich says: “Robinho sleeping with her, she sucking Alex, it’s true man. How does the crazy girl remember that?”
Robinho, aware that the flight to Brazil will save those involved due to the non-extradition of Brazilian citizens to other countries, he comments, in a part of the recording, how he would defend himself: “Whoever touched her is in Brazil. Go after those people who are in Brazil. There, in Brazil. Fuck those who slept with the girl. I didn’t go to bed, you didn’t go to bed. Fuck them.”
“That I went to bed, zero possibility. That will end in nothing,” insists the former Real Madrid player. To which a friend replies: “Stop because I saw that you put your penis in her mouth”. “That’s nothing!” replies Robinho.
One of the strongest parts of the recordings is when Robinho encourages his friends to attack the victim: “Is she an idiot? We’re going to hit her! You are going to punch him and you are going to say: “Fuck, what have I done to you? Have I done something to you?”
The former soccer player was sentenced in the first instancein 2017, to nine years in prison for rape in a nightclub in Milan in 2013, when he played for Milan. According to Italian justice, Robinho and four friends abused a young Albanian that he was celebrating his birthday that day.
At the moment, Robinho is free in Brazil due to the impossibility of being extradited.
