After the resounding success of the first season, The Bear will return to the small screen with new episodes that promise even more drama and tension. Although a precise release date has not been revealed, FX Networks has revealed that the second season of the show created by Christopher Storer will arrive earlier than expected, or in the course of the summer.
The Bear 2 will arrive in the summer
The new season will consist of 10 episodes (2 more than the previous one) and will always arrive on Hulu (in Italy on Disney +). The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young, classically trained chef who moves to Chicago to run the family Italian sandwich shop after his brother’s suicide. Full of tension, twists and turns and an attention to detail direction, the series won over critics and audiences, leading Jeremy to win the Golden Globe for best actor. The new episodes will focus on the opening of a new restaurant, but the relationship between Carmy and Sydney will be limited to a great friendship, as stated by the producers of the show.

The second season will have a lighter tone than the first, but will equally combine moments of comedy with episodes of drama, as well as introducing new guest stars. As written in our review, The Bear develops its entire potential starting from an event and a precise context to range dramatically in what it deals with, deepening and outlining a group of characters that are difficult to understand at the beginning, but nevertheless extremely fascinating as a whole. The cast also includes Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Joel McHale, Amy Morton, Molly Ringwald, and Oliver Platt.
