Estate agent Anders Havneraas in Notar is used to selling homes that can stand out on the housing market.
But when he was commissioned to sell a house in Kristiansund, he got a surprise when he walked in for the first time.
– I was warned by the heirs who said: “You’ve probably sold many thousands of homes as a broker, but I don’t think you’ve seen anything close to this,” Havneraas tells TV 2.
It was VG who mentioned the matter first.
– Adventurous
The estate agent says that he did not have such high expectations before entering the house.
It turned out, however, that the heirs were right: he got a real surprise when he entered the house.
– It was extreme. It was like entering a museum – packed with antiques and art, according to the broker.
Every room in the house is full of dolls, sculptures, decorative items and unique antiques from ceiling to floor.
Everywhere you look, new things appear:
– Very adventurous. It’s like a mix of an Asbjørnsen and Moe adventure and Harry Potter. You are both happy and confused when you enter, says Havneraas and adds:
– Or it’s like a kind of overfurnished brown pub.
Big interest
The property ad has only been out for two days, but according to Havneraas, they have already reached 30,000 clicks on the ad.
He has never experienced so many clicks in such a short time on a housing advertisement before.
– It is rare that there is such good interest. Many people have signed up for viewings, but I don’t know if they are actually interested in the house or just want to see it, says the broker.
Havneraas says that the house is completed, and that things are not just set up “bolt to bolt”, and if the buyer wishes – he or she can bring all the objects in the house with the purchase.
– It’s a bit special, they can potentially buy a treasure chest with them.
Cinderella’s house
The housing advertisement in Kristiansund has created interest on social media.
Some people get excited, while others find it stressful with so many things:
“I think I had lost myself in the rooms,” writes one on Facebook.
“What a laundry job it must be,” writes another.
Some wonder who has lived in the home before:
“I would like to get to know those who have lived here. There must be incredibly exciting people, but many stories to tell,” says one.
Some write that they would have liked to have moved into the house on the day, and are drawn into a fairy tale world by seeing the pictures of the house:
“Cinderella’s house!” comments one on Facebook.
