David Yost, the original blue ranger (Billy), has published a tweet confirming his presence: “Are you ready to celebrate 30 years of action and adventure with a new independent special? I had a great time participating in this special. This incredible event will stream on Netflix globally on April 19.”

Returning Power Ranger actors besides David Yost include Walter E. Jones (the Black Power Ranger), Catherine Sutherland (the second Pink Ranger), Steve Cardenas (Rocky, the second Red Ranger), Karan Ashley (Aisha, the Yellow Ranger ) and Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam, Black Ranger). Barbara Goodson voices Rita Repulsa.

The episode begins a new adventure in which the Power Rangers will have to face “a known threat from the past.
In the midst of a global crisis, they are called upon once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary motto of the series, ‘once a Ranger, always a Ranger’, Once & Always reminds everyone that when you become a Ranger you are part of the family and you are always welcome.
Notably, the special comes months after the sad passing of Jason David Frank, who played the green and white Power Ranger from the early stages of the series. Born in 1973, the interpreter continued playing Tommy Oliver and attending fan meetings and conventions until shortly before his death. Expert in martial arts, he also fought in combat.
