Like every Sunday, it’s time again: In cooperation with our guest author Stefan, we offer you a review of the cloud gaming news of the last few days in the seventh calendar week of the still young year. Stefan is our resident cloud gaming expert and regularly shares his enthusiasm and knowledge on the Cloudplay YouTube channel.

A new week brings – mostly – new games. But some have to go. From March 1st fly out:

  • crown trick
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • FAR: Changing Tides
  • Octopath Traveler

As already announced, the following games are now available for subscription:

Shadow PC

I’ve put together a playlist for anyone who likes Shadow PC and is wondering how current games run on it. Check it out. So far found there: Wild Hearts, Forspoken, Dead Space Remake.

New updates for your Shadow PC:

  • ShadowUSB on Windows in PROD

Innovations:

After ShadowUSB was already released for Linux, macOS and the RasPi4 Launcher in PROD, ShadowUSB (USB over IP developed by Shadow itself) is now also available on Windows in PROD. With this function you can forward different USB devices

To install ShadowUSB, you have to go to “Controller & USB” in the Shadow Launcher under Settings (gear wheel at top right) and then install the drivers there (currently 2.0.1). After you have installed this, you can start Shadow and then go to “Controller & USB” via the Shadow Overlay (WIN+ALT+O or the Shadow icon in the top middle). Then tick the USB devices that you want to forward to Shadow.

  • New IVNM bundle in PROD

with ShadowManager 2.4.20

Corrections:

  • Improving Shadow PC services metrics
  • Added metric when Windows is not activated
  • Internal fixes for ShadowVR (against crashes)
  • Other internal/minor bug fixes

GeForce Now

This week you should definitely initiate an update of your app. The loading screen of a game now shows a nice wallpaper at the start. Much like it was with Stadia.

Otherwise the highlights:

The current status of 4080 upgrades and what’s new?

Already included:

  • San Jose
  • Los Angeles
  • Dallas
  • Ashburn (DC)
  • London
  • Frankfurt
  • Amsterdam

– Paris is currently in the status “Maintenance”

You can find out how far Nvidia is here: https://status.geforcenow.com/

One news stands out! Capcom is making its debut on the platform and will soon be releasing Monster Hunter Rise along with all of its content.

These games are also new this week:

Today I have some rumors for you. You can see which games opted in to GeForce Now at steam.db. This means that these could potentially appear on the platform. But not everyone does that. Between the “want” and the release lies the onboarding of Nvidia. They announced a year ago that the list of games wanting to enter the platform is much longer than what is currently possible. I don’t want to keep you in suspense any longer. Potentially coming:

  • 11-11 Memories Retold
  • AI Roguelite
  • Beyond These Stars
  • Bleak Sword DX
  • BookyPets Legends
  • Destructure: Among Debris
  • get even
  • Innchanted

boosteroid

Several members of our community have asked me to stop reporting on the service. Especially considering the recent events surrounding crypto scam, stolen money and bots used for aggressive advertising. I agree and will no longer report on Boosteroid for the time being, but will monitor developments.

The following retro games are new to Antstream:

  • Traverse USA (’83 Arcade)
